This is an independently assessed qualification.

Learners must have achieved the Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides (PA1) (or equivalent) before being assessed for this qualification.

This qualification is designed specifically for those who wish to apply pesticides using self-propelled, mounted or trailed horizontal boom sprayers.

To achieve this qualification, candidates must successfully achieve a one to one practical observation with oral questioning.
