Type of Learner: If you need to buy or use sheep dip products, then under the Medicines (Exemptions for Merchants in Veterinary Drugs) Order 1998 you will need to hold this qualification.Qualification Overview: It covers preparing to dip sheep by demonstrating understanding and knowledge of legislative, welfare and environmental requirements, protective clothing, record keeping, control of external parasites, sheep diseases and dip disposal. An optional unit on practical dipping will put this knowledge in to practice.What you need to do: Undertake a Practical examination, oral examination and online multiple choice examination.
