T Levels

T Levels are a new level 3 qualification, each equivalent to 3 A Levels and will be worth UCAS points (for example a T Level Distinction* is worth the same as 3 A Levels at A* ). They will be recognised by universities and other education providers for learners who wish to further their studies.

T Level courses will last 2 years, following on from GCSEs, and are aimed primarily at 16-18 learners. The courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to make sure they meet the needs of the industry and prepare learners for the workplace.

They will consist of a mixture of classroom learning and on-the-job experience, including an industry placement of at least 45 days. Over the course, learners will develop the skills and experience they need to enter skilled employment or further technical study.

Apprenticeships

We put quality and learning at the heart of our apprenticeship training and education - City & Guilds is a name you can trust. Our apprenticeships are designed to deliver a progressive learning journey for the apprentice and robust assessment.

Apprenticeships are training programmes to help create a skilled workforce and anyone 16 or older can become an apprentice. You can even have worked for a company for some time and still develop your skills with an apprenticeship. Good apprenticeships combine effective on- and off-the-job training with thorough assessment
