AORD09 - Level 2 Award in Off Road Driving

This is an Independantly Assessed qualification.

Type of Learner: If you use off road 4 x4 vehicles as part of your day to day work and need to drive across other people’s land as part of your job, then this qualification is for you. Candidates are required to hold a full driving licence before taking this assessment. It does not replace any legal requirement for a driving licence.

Qualification Overview: It includes pre-use checks, basic maintenance of the vehicle, safe driving on various types of terrain and over various obstacles. There are optional units covering “trailers in the work place” or for the “use of a winch”.

What you need to do: Take a practical test with one to one verbal questioning.
