Data Protection Act 1998 – Our Policy
The Data Protection Act 1998 (“DPA”) is there to protect your personal details from being misused. NPTC, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire CV8 2LG (“NPTC”) is the registered data controller under the DPA.
Your data may be made available to relevant assessment centres so they can organise assessments, and to our website host contractor to update our database. Your data may also be disclosed to various statutory bodies to whom we are legally obliged to provide candidate data if so requested.
We may also provide your data to employers and contractors who need to verify your qualifications, but we will only disclose your data to such parties if you have contacted us with your specific consent to do so.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (for which we may charge a fee of £10), and to correct any inaccuracies in your information.
